Invictus Hostel

I can't say anything less than GREAT about this hostel. We mainly chose it because of its location as it is bang in the middle of things and you can walk anywhere in Porto from it. We weren't disappointed as there are great places around it and it was so easy to check in and get settled. When my partner got food poisoning and was unwell, they were the kindest people ever! Especially Guillhermo, he called us an ambulance and stayed with us until they arrived. The next day the woman at the reception (sorry we can't recall her name) she kindly spruced up our room and gave us clean linen and towels. We would recommend them for sure!!

I liked the female 🚺 staff Filipa and Vânia 5 stars ✨ Filipa always kind to guests, and Vânia, only pretty much by herself everything spotless and tidy...

The vibe, the common areas, the location, the multiple languages and friendlynes by the receptionist Hugo, the incredible work of Ana Maria keeping every single corner clean at all times :)

I absolutely loved this place. I’ve been to MANY hostels in my life but it was the first one where staff told me when I was leaving: “it was nice meeting you!” They brand themselves as family ran business I don’t know if they are family but definitely you could feel the aura of friendship, kindness and welcoming. The beds are attached to the wall so there is no issue with people going over or under your bed. The place is clean and smells nice. In the reception they also sell some cool sneakers. All was more than great 😊! 5 ⭐️ I’ve booked 1 night initially - I stayed 1 week.

I loved the neighborhood! Very walkable, close to cafes, and stores, and historic spots. Filipa gave great advice on places to go. Because it was in an older part of town it was less intimidating for me to explore on my own.
